SERVICES Bathroom Design Concept Project Management Trades Trades We have an extensive team of tradespeople who bring a wealth of expertise, commitment and professionalism in every bathroom renovation that we do. TILING Our experienced and friendly team of tilers will professionally lay your tiles, not matter what category of tile - ceramic, vertrified, porcelain, marble, selected stones or mosaic. We use fine sanitised grout or coloured grout to match your selected tile and will advise you on the finishing of your corner tile whether it is to be jolly, polished or tiled trimmed. We will also silicone all internal tiled corners and where tiles meet a foreign surface. PLASTERING Our plasterers will strip your walls and replace them with a 6mm villaboard which is then nailed to the studs of your wall. Depending on your renovation we can also replace your existing ceiling, cornices or carry out minor repairs. When rendering the walls we use additives to our mix to improve the quality of the render. All joints are set behind the work using quality tile adhesives. If an area of a wall lining is not required to be replaced but tiled only, we will prepare this area (scutched ready for tiling). All products used meet or exceed Australian Standards. PAINTING Our painters are all qualified and licensed, so no matter what effect or colour you select you can be confident that it will be done professionally. All surfaces that are required to be painted will be prepared using quality products. Our standard painting process is 2 coats of undercoat followed by 2 coats of paint. We use tropical strength additives to prevent mould and peeling. PLUMBING Our licensed plumbers will check and renew any plumbing or drainage to accommodate your new sanitary items as per the design of your new bathroom plan. We also advise you on all exposed pipes which are then replaced if required using copper and silver soldering. We can also supply and fit a temperature control valve if substantial moves are made to your bathroom. CARPENTRY Our carpenters will assess and replace any load bearing walls and if there is evidence of minor wet rot, dry rot or termite damage to the studs of your bathroom. We will also straighten any timber studs to reduce bows prior to lining, this is done using various methods like crippling, planning and packing studs. We can also strip your floor down to the structural sub floor and provide trimming and adjustment to new or existing doors and locks if required. ELECTRICAL Our professional licensed electricians will carry out all the required wiring or re-wiring to accommodate your new bathroom, wether it is for lighting, powerpoints, switches or exhaust fans. We use quality products that meet Australian standards. We also advice you on safety switches which are required by law and can only be determined by a licensed electrician. If this is required due to the work being done, this can be carried by our qualified electrician. STRUCTURAL All structural work required is carried out by Brindabella Bathrooms due to our full builders license. We can remove walls, replace beams, move windows and even turn a bedroom into a bathroom! RUBBISH REMOVAL All rubbish is removed from the customers house in a professional manner, this carried out by a small truck so there is no hassle as to where to put the “dump bin”. We use dust sheets for your furniture, tarps for the floors and tape doors to minimise dust from spreading throughout your home.
